HORSES

Horses on our hunts are from a variety of breeds, such as Arabians, Quarter Horses, Thoroughbreds, gaited breeds, and draft-horse crosses. Just about any breed will do as long as it has the stamina to keep up with the hounds. The better conditioned your horse is, the easier this will be. Horses that find it challenging to ride in a group are allowed to ride off at a little distance. No riders are required, or even asked, to push their horses beyond their conditioning or ability.
